Huge installation, depend on java 6 (5 did not work)
Basic functionality working, calling with audio works ok,
but on other computer it was not possible to call with audio.
Even jitsi to jitsi did not work between private networks.
OTR working

kde-telepathy
Huge installation, highly modular: many packages
Video call worked (with huge latency), voice call was ok
first time, second time error
basic functionality broken ("handler no longer available")
good approach, but unstable and OTR missing(?)

psi
not tested, last news 2012

kopete
chat works, some plugins available
seems to have a really weird restriction that jingle
only works with google domains!
-> voice chat did not work

Einfach und Funktionell.
Für amd64 am besten eine chroot verwenden (geht nicht?)
Es muss audacity installiert sein damit Kanäle vorhanden sind!

twinkle

Echt toller Client mit sehr vielen Funktionen. Ohne video.

ekiga

Für die gtk fans empfehlenswert. Mit video.

ihu

Verwendet nicht sip, ohne Firewall sehr schnell zu ergebnis.

kphone

Kompliziertere Einstellung, ein wenig sip erfahrung wäre
wünschenswert.



== Provider ==

sipgate.at

Kostenlos, bietet Konfiguration für viele Endgeräte an, leider für
keine Linuxsoftware (einfach von einem anderen Gerät die Konfiguration
nehmen). Kein Client wird besonders bevorzugt.

wengophone

Funktioniert out-of-the box mit dem wengophone client. Ansonsten
nicht getestet.

ekiga

Wird beim ekiga Client angeboten.
