9th April 2015 There are very inconsistent and strange entry regulations in place that hardly improve any security. In Dubai a check for liquid is redone after the security check (before boarding). Even water newly bought or refilled in the airport has to be thrown away. But Melborne (Australien) has a even "better" idea: for a transfer flight where normally you would expect not even to leave the airplane you are forced to redo security check and by chance even a body scan. If you try to refuse the non-optional body scan (according to the security person) you can turn around and be stranded in Australia. But what they do there is a show and *not* related to security (e.g. they do not even checked if you are allowed to do this transit).
